Look Sharp At Your Next Interview

As the old cliche goes, "a first impression go's a long way" Always remember that the clothing you wear should always reflect your personal style, and position you as someone the employer would want to represent of their company. For interviews, a good rule of thumb is to appear more spiffy, as if you were applying for the position above you are gunning for. Even in a “business casual” environment, it will be to your advantage to dress in formal business attire to show more respect to the company and the interviewer.
During the interview, be vigilant and take note of how the employees dress. As this will be a cue as to how you will dress once you are hired. Remember that your formal business attire will be modified once you get the position. Your choice of colors and ties will be contingent on company culture, on site or off site client interaction, etc.
